Dungeons are small underground cobblestone rooms containing a zombie, skeleton, or spider spawner and up to two loot chests. Java markers model placement RNG, cave openings, Y-level, and spawner type for Minecraft 1.18+.
The marker includes the predicted room-center Y-level. Approach through nearby caves instead of digging straight down into the spawner room.
Place torches on and around the spawner before opening chests, or preserve the room as an XP and mob-drop farm.
Markers show the predicted spawner type in the center of the spawner icon.
Are the coordinates exact?
Java 1.18+ markers use block-level terrain density and cave-carver checks. Aquifers and feature interactions can add or remove rooms, so verify markers in-game.
How accurate is Bedrock support?
Bedrock uses the exact dungeon attempt and spawner RNG, with final survival filtered through parity terrain while its separate aquifer and cave provider is still being modeled. Treat the room and mob type as previews.
Why are dungeons visible only when zoomed in?
Monster rooms are dense underground features. Broad zoom levels hide them to avoid overlapping markers and expensive terrain scans.
Which versions are supported?
The finder supports Java and Bedrock 1.18+ world generation. Older terrain uses a different generator and is intentionally not approximated.
