Amethyst Geodes are underground features made of smooth basalt, calcite, and amethyst blocks. The finder shows deterministic generation attempts, which should be verified in-game.
Geodes have an outer smooth basalt shell, a middle calcite layer, and an inner layer containing amethyst blocks and budding amethyst.
Each marker reports the predicted center of a geode generation attempt, including its underground Y-level. Final placement can still be rejected by terrain and block conditions.
Budding amethyst grows clusters through exposed faces. It cannot be obtained or moved, even with Silk Touch, so build farms around naturally generated blocks.
Where do Amethyst Geodes generate?
Amethyst Geodes generate underground in the Overworld. Their exact vertical range depends on the Minecraft version.
Is every predicted marker guaranteed to contain a geode?
No. The finder reproduces deterministic placement attempts, but it does not model every final terrain and block viability check. Verify each location in-game.
Can budding amethyst be moved with Silk Touch?
No. Budding amethyst cannot be obtained in Survival, including with Silk Touch. Amethyst blocks and crystal clusters can be collected.
Do Large Biomes change geode locations?
No. Geode placement uses decorator randomness rather than biome scale, so the same seed keeps the same predicted geode attempts in Large Biomes worlds.
