Natural End Gateways are rare portals generated across the outer End islands. They are separate from the 20 inner gateways unlocked through Ender Dragon fights.
These markers predict gateways that generate naturally with outer-island terrain, not the ring of gateways created around the central island after dragon victories.
The finder reports verified horizontal block coordinates. It does not invent a constant Y level because the gateway's vertical placement depends on its terrain column.
Natural gateways are uncommon, so the finder searches bounded outer-End areas progressively and expands only when a nearer window has no result.
Are these the gateways created by defeating the Ender Dragon?
No. Dragon victories create up to 20 inner gateways around the central island. This finder shows naturally generated gateways on the outer islands.
Where do natural End Gateways generate?
They generate rarely on valid terrain in the outer End islands. Empty void and unsuitable End biome columns are rejected by the finder.
Why does the finder show only X and Z?
The prediction has an exact horizontal position, but the app does not display an unverified constant Y value. Use the terrain at the listed column to locate the portal vertically.
Are Java and Bedrock gateway locations the same?
No. Java and Bedrock use different decoration random streams and placement rules, so choose the exact edition and supported version for your world.
