Daily Goals, Weekly Hunts & Community XP: Complete Guide
MCSeedShare isn't just a place to look up seed numbers — it is an active community of Minecraft explorers! With Challenges & Gamification, you can earn XP, unlock custom profile cosmetics, maintain daily login streaks, and participate in community-wide seed hunting events.
Whether you check in every day or love participating in massive community events, here is how the progression system works and how to maximize your XP!
Activity Streaks & XP Multipliers
Consistency is key! Performing any major action on the site (such as sharing a seed, creating a collection, adding coordinates, or favoriting) will start your Activity Streak.
- Streak Milestones: Reach consecutive day milestones to earn massive XP bonuses and showcase specialized flame badges on your profile.
- XP Multipliers: Keeping a high streak gives you a permanent boost to all XP you earn, climbing all the way up to a 1.25x multiplier at 60+ days!
- Streak Freeze: Going on vacation or need a break? You can purchase a Streak Freeze for 500 XP in the Challenges Hub. You can store up to 3 freezes to protect your hard-earned streak automatically when you miss a day.
| Streak Days | XP Bonus | Exclusive Badge |
|---|---|---|
| 3 Days | +25 XP | 3-Day Streak (Common) |
| 7 Days | +75 XP | 7-Day Blaze (Uncommon) |
| 14 Days | +150 XP | 14-Day Inferno (Uncommon) |
| 30 Days | +300 XP | 30-Day Pyro (Rare) |
| 60 Days | +500 XP | 60-Day Firestorm (Epic) |
| 100 Days | +1,000 XP | 100-Day Supernova (Epic) |
| 365 Days | +5,000 XP | Year-Long Legend (Legendary) |
Crush Your Daily Goals
Every day, you will be assigned 3 Daily Goals tailored to your activity. These quick tasks reward you with XP upon completion:
- Browse & React: Browse categories, view seeds, or react to community finds.
- Contribute: Add helpful coordinates, publish new seeds, or comment.
- Create: Organize your favorite discoveries into beautiful collections.
Complete all 3 of your Daily Goals to unlock a sweet +50 XP Daily Completion Bonus!
Join the Weekly Seed Hunt (/weekly-hunt)
Think you have the ultimate seed for the job? Join our community-wide Weekly Hunt!
Each week features a unique theme or criteria (e.g., finding the best survival island, a seed with 3 ocean monuments at spawn, or rare biome overlaps).
How Weekly Hunts Work:
- The Theme: A prompt is revealed (e.g. "Find the best Cherry Blossom Mountain Crater").
- Submit Your Entry: Community members submit seed numbers with screenshot previews matching the criteria.
- Community Voting: Members vote on their favorite finds.
- Rewards: Top-voted seeds win bonus XP, special winner badges on their seed pages, and get featured on the MCSeedShare homepage!
Conquer Monthly Campaigns
For the ultimate explorers, Monthly Campaigns are long-term goals that run for the entire month, challenging you to push your limits:
- Publish Seeds: Share a target number of verified seeds during the month.
- Build Collections: Create themed collections that help the community.
- Earn XP: Push your level further by accumulating experience.
Completing a monthly campaign rewards you with a large XP drop and a highly-coveted, limited-edition monthly badge that will never be available again.
Leveling Up & Unlocking Cosmetics
As you earn XP through contributions, reviews, and challenges, your profile levels up! High-level explorers unlock custom card borders, collectible seed cards, and creator perks across the platform.
Head over to the Challenges Hub page to view your stats in real-time. You can track your daily goals, view the active weekly hunt criteria, check your current streak, see your active multipliers, and buy streak freezes.
Get out there, start exploring, and show the community why you're a true Seed Legend!
Happy hunting, The MCSeedShare Team
